Lake Powell view of Glen Canyon Area

These pictures were taken from a NPS 5- mile boat tour between Wahweap Marina, Arizona and Rainbow Bridge National Monument in 2009. These views show some of the buttes and features along the shoreline of lower Lake Powell. Note that he shoreline has changed signicantly with the lowering of water level since then. The ripple-bedded sandstone and dinosaur footprints were on display near the Powell Musuem near Glen Canyon Dam in Page, Arizona.
