Big Bend National Park
Yucca bloom in early March along the Old Ore Road north of Rio Grande Village. In the distance, Ernst Arroyo (an intermittent stream) carved a canyon through a hogback ridge of Cretaceous sedimentary formations along the eastern flank of the Sierra Del Carmen in eastern Big Bend National Park .
