| Chimney Top Creek flows down the valley to the left of Chimney Top Rock. A popular overlook is on the top of the high pinnacle of Corbin Sandstone called Chimney Top. Chimney Top Creek drains into the Red River. The Red River Gorge is carved into a Late Miocene surface of the Cumberland Plateau. |
