| This display case in the Fort Ancient Museum show examples of artifacts made of mica, sea shells from Atlantic coastal sources, and obsidian spear points. The obsidian points were made from lava rock probably from the closest source located in what is now Yellowstone National Park in northwestern Wyoming. These items show that there was a very wide trade network in operation in these prehistoric times. |
