Raised rank to Castlegate Sandstone in central Book Cliffs (Cobban and Reeside, 1952). Revised to Castlegate Member, assigned as basal member to Farrer and Neslen facies of Price River Formation (Young, 1955). Overview (Fisher and others, 1960). Areal limits; Overview (Hail, 1974). Bluecastle Tongue assigned; Age modified; Areal limits (Fouch and others, 1983).
