Sag pond along San Andreas Fault
This sag pond along the San Andreas Fault is located along the south boundary of Carrizo Plain National Monument (along the Soda Lake Road). The fault runs north along the east flank (left) of the distant Elkhorn Hills (a pressure ridge) in the vicinity of MU Ranch.
