| The River Styx emerges from a cavern entrance along the Green River not far from the Mammoth Cave National Park Visitor Center. Like the Echo River Spring, barren banks along the stream reflect the changing volume of water that can discharge from the spring, or backfill into the cavern when the Green River floods. |
