Wupatki National Monument
This oval-shaped masonry near Wupatki Ruin is possibly a ball court. Similar courtyards are found in ancient Hohokam cultural ruins of the same era in southern Arizona and Mexico (Wilcox and Sternberg, 1983). Nearly 30 other ball court-like structures are known from the ancient Hohokam cultural region.
