Wupatki Pueblo ruins. The ruin consists of about 100 rooms with a tower, community rooms (kivas) and a ballcourt. It is the largest ruin in the vicinity of Wupatki National Monument. It is estimated that at about the peak of its cultural development around 1190 AD that about 2000 people lived within a one day walking distance from the pueblo (NPS, 2006).
