Teddybear cholla or jumping cholla (Opuntia bigelovii) grow in abundance in the 1,000 to 2,000 feet elevation range in the 1,000 to 2,000 feet range in the Eldorado Mountains west of Lake Mohave near Cottonwood Cove (USDA, [2010b]).
