View looking north from an old Colorado River terrace in the vicinity of Squaw Peaks Cove (on the Arizona side of the lake near river mile 43). Cholla cactus and creosote bush are common on the old gravel-covered surface of the river terrace. The El Dorado Mountains in the distance are on the Nevada side of the Colorado River (Lake Mohave).
