| The National Park Service maintains trails to provide access and to help protect park resources. The main trail around the ceremonial grounds at Mound City Group is about a mile (half hour walk). Other park trails pass through the forest and along the banks of the Scioto River. This view shows stairs on a trail that runs along the banks of the Scioto River on the east side of park unit. |
