Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Rainforest on Kilauea is dominated by Hapu'u' or Hawaiian tree ferns (Cibotium chamissoi) and ohi'a trees (Metrosideros polymorpha). This forest is near the entrance to the Thurston Lava Tube on Crater Rim Drive (Native Plants Hawaii, 2009, 2009b).
