| This view is looking south along the Bright Angel Trail in the vicinity of Indian Gardens in Garden Creek Canyon. Snow squalls of an early spring storm partly obscure the cliffs along the North Rim in the distance. The slope on the left consists of Cambrian-age Bright Angel Shale. The slope on the right consists of gravel-rich alluvial deposits exposed along upper Garden Creek. |
