Lake Lenore in Grand Coulee
View of Lake Lenore shows the massive canyon character of the Grand Coulee (looking south from an axial ridge in the valley). Lake Lenore fills the basin along the outer bank of a gradual bend in the coulee that was carved out by flowing water of the great Spokane Flood of the Late Pleistocene (Baker, 1987; Carson and others, 1987).
