| Although the Green River Formation is perhaps best know for its fossil fish, a great abundance of other animal and plant fossils have been recovered. This image shows a fossil crocodile on display in the Visitor Center. Another important aspect of the fossils from the Green River Formation is their high quality of preservation. |
