| This view looking down the road in lower Titus Canyon shows that some of the limestone and dolomite beds are quite massive. The lack of clastic sediment (sand, clay, or silt) in these beds suggests that these layers were originally deposited on a shallow marine platform region far from any sources of continental-derived sediment. |
