| These Joshua trees (Yucca brevifolia) are located along the Racetrack Road about 10 miles south of Scotty's Castle. Joshua trees grow in several parts of the park. Perhaps the largest grove in the region is located along the Saline Valley Road along Death Valley National Park's western boundary. (USDA, [2010c]). |
