This view from the Rim Village area shows the eastern side of Crater Lake. Mount Scott (elevation 8,929) is the highest point in Crater Lake National Park. Mount Scott is a volcano that formed about 400,000 years ago on the eastern flank of Mount Mazama (Bacon, 1990). |
