This zoomed-in view shows more detail of Wizard Island, a volcanic cinder cone that rises 760 feet above the Crater Lake (the surface elevation of the lake remains stationary at about 6,173 feet). A small crater at the volcano's summit is about 300 feet across and 90 feet deep (USGS, 2005). |
