| Cedar Breaks National Monument is located on the Markagunt Plateau, a high region along the southwestern margin of the Colorado Plateau near Cedar City, Utah. This is a view of the south entrance to the park looking east toward the rolling upland of the plateau east of the monument (and near 11,000 feet in elevation). |
