Long-Wave UV (Band A) Mineral Display |

This is an example of a display of minerals that are highly fluorescent under long-wave UV (Band C). Long-wave UV is not hazardous to short-term exposure. Fluorite, wernerite, and ruby do well under long-wave UV. Note how the Terlingua calcite glows pink under long-wave UV light.
