Mount Shasta and Shastina
Mt. Shasta as seen from the west-southwest side in the town of Mt. Shasta (view taken from a parking area near Interstate 5). Mt. Shasta is the high volcanic peak on the right. The lower, wider peak on the left is Shastina. At 4,317 meters (14,161 feet), Mount Shasta is the second highest volcano in the Cascade Range, second only to Mount Rainier.
