| This view is looking north toward the High Peaks area from near the intersection of High Peaks and Juniper Canyon trails. The dip direction of the beds is to the left (west), suggesting that the central stock of the volcano would have been to the right (or east) and/or that the layers have be pushed up (rotated) by tectonic forces. |
