Jackson Lake and the Teton Range
Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming was established in 1929. This view is looking south along the northern park road (Highway 89-191-287) shows Jackson Lake and the fault-bounded range front of the eastern Teton Range (Love and others, 1973). The partially dammed lake is at the north end of the valley named Jackson Hole (Harris and others, 1997).
