The Annie Spring Entrance Station is near Mazama Village on the park's south side. This image was taken in late March when the winter snow depths are about at their maximum. Despite the heavy snow fall at Crater Lake (which is typically amongst of the greatest in the Cascades), the National Park Service keeps the road open to Rim Village on the mountain's south side year round, except during heavy snowstorms when the road is temporarily closed.
