Scotts Creek Beach is popular surfing beach a couple miles north of Davenport on Highway 1. The beach fills the bay where Scotts Creek cuts through the marine terrace. Cliffs of Miocene Santa Cruz Mudstone crop out in the distance on the north end of the beach.
